Pot Light Installation in Toronto & the GTA

Pot light installation is layout work before it is electrical work. We map spacing, beam angles, switch locations and dimmer circuits on site, then cut precisely around joists, insulation and existing wiring so the finished ceiling looks original rather than retrofitted.

Recessed lighting is installed in finished and unfinished ceilings, on standard and sloped ceilings, and in concrete-ceiling condos where depth is limited.

LED upgrades replace halogen, incandescent and fluorescent lighting with efficient LED trims and fixtures that run cooler, last far longer and dim properly. We match colour temperature across a room or a whole floor, and replace incompatible dimmers so LEDs do not flicker or buzz.

Kitchens need layered light — general ceiling coverage plus task light over islands, counters and sinks. Living rooms and open-concept main floors need even coverage without hot spots, usually on separate dimmed zones. Finished basements benefit most from replacing dim fluorescent tubes with a full recessed layout, and we work around low ceilings, ducts and beams.

Condo pot lights come with their own constraints: concrete ceilings, bulkheads and dropped ceilings, limited access above the slab, and building rules and scheduling. We plan condo layouts around the available depth and routing, and work within building requirements and approved hours.
